REQUIREMENTS:       
•   Masters in Social Work (Licensed in the state of New Jersey/LCSW, LMFT, LPC preferred) or
 compatible graduatedegree.  
•   DV/SA counseling experience (at least one year)
•   Experience in family therapy techniques and treatment modalities
•   Experience working with children and adults
•   Experience working with youth and adults with developmental issues
•   Knowledge of issues for minority individuals
•   Ability to develop rapport with varying age groups
•   Valid driver’s license
•   Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
•   Clear a criminal history background check
•   Complete agency mandatory dv and sa training or equivalent
•   Proficient in Microsoft Office, Publisher and Excel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:        
•   Provide crisis intervention services, advocacy and referrals to dv and sa survivors and their families
•   Provide family therapy services to victims of dv participating in the PALS Program
•   Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing family relationship issues
•   Advocate for clients to community agencies where appropriate and in alignment with agency confidentiality policies
•   Consult with outside professionals involved in clients’ lives to gather information, assess progress, and coordinate services
•   Facilitate a parenting support group to participants of PALS program, and possibly other groups as needed
•   Participate in counseling meetings, clinical supervision meetings, and team case management meetings
•   Work collaboratively with counselors and other agency staff
•   Abide by confidentiality and privilege requirements at all times
•   Maintain case files including progress notes, evaluations and recommendations
•   Complete client statistics on a monthly basis
•   Included in on-call rotation for after-hours safe house supervision
•   Provide outreach into the community to increase awareness about agency programs and services
•   Participate in agency-wide functions, such as fundraisers, community events, speaking engagements, etc. as needed
•   Attend monthly staff meetings
•   Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor or Executive Director
