FLEMINGTON, NJ, AUGUST 6, 2009 – SAFE in Hunterdon announces that Huntington Learning Centers will sponsor its “Night at the
Ballpark,” an evening aimed at raising funds and awareness for SAFE, the Hunterdon-county based domestic and sexual abuse agency. On
Friday, September 18th, both organizations invite all members of the community to come out for an evening of fireworks, fun, and baseball as
the Somerset Patriots take on the York Revolution.

The game, which starts at 7:05 pm, will also feature Irish night, with Irish performances, music and much more throughout the night. In late
August, fans will be able to bid for the opportunity to throw out the first pitch of the game. Bidding will be held on eBay, and more information
and details will be on SAFE’s website in August. Fans can also buy chances to win SAFE’s 50/50 raffle, as well as enjoy a post-game
fireworks show. In addition, three random seats will be chosen from SAFE in Hunterdon’s group of 500 tickets to win $100 gift cards from
ShopRite.

Huntington Learning Center helps students from kindergarten to adult achieve remarkable improvements in their grades, test scores and self-
esteems. The success of their programs lies in the one-to-one attention they devote to every child and the expertise of their caring, certified
teachers. Huntington Learning Center has tutoring centers around the country, each with tutors dedicated to helping children succeed. The
center locations in Bridgewater, Ledgewood, Morristown, Edison and East Brunswick have teamed up to support SAFE in Hunterdon’s
fundraising night.

SAFE in Hunterdon serves the needs of individuals and families that have been victimized by domestic and sexual abuse, providing a 24-hour
hotline, safe shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, crisis intervention response, and children’s programs. Last year, SAFE answered 6,000
hotline calls, provided advocacy, counseling, and other direct services to nearly 2,000 individuals, and helped 600 clients through the
restraining order process via our legal advocacy program. Our children’s programs helped over 130 children heal from the painful emotional
trauma of witnessing violence or being abused themselves.

SAFE in Hunterdon is committed to finding unique funding opportunities that can involve the entire community. Domestic and sexual abuse are
issues that affect everyone, and together, we can bring peace to our families, friends and neighbors. Those who want to help can support
SAFE in Hunterdon by attending our fundraising night.

Tickets are just $10. Supporters can call Andrea Lovas at (908) 788-7666 x213, or visit the agency website at www.safeinhunterdon.
org/patstickets to buy tickets. In addition, SAFE in Hunterdon representatives will be at Flemington ShopRite from 11 am to 2 pm on Friday,
August 14th, and at HealthQuest in Flemington on from 8:30 am to 10:30 am Tuesday, August 18th, to sell tickets. Sparkee, the Somerset
Patriots mascot, will be at both locations to sign autographs and take pictures.
