Shelter. Food. Safety. Emotional support. Peace of mind.

Every person deserves them. Every person needs them. But there are many victims of domestic and sexual violence in Hunterdon County without one or more of these things. Thousands of individuals and families right here in Hunterdon County are affected by domestic and sexual violence. However, the only way we can continue to provide free services such as emergency shelter, counseling and legal advocacy is with your help.

Our hope is that you will support victims and survivors by joining our growing list of supporters and becoming a friend of our organization. Through Nights of Safety, a donor is able to provide a victim a free night in our Safe House. Your tax-deductible contribution of $25, $50, $100 or more will provide victims of domestic and sexual violence and their children with what they need to survive during an extremely difficult time in their lives:

  • Free emergency shelter at our safe house
  • Free individual and/or group counseling
  • Free legal advocacy
  • Access to our toll-free 24-hour Crisis Hotline 1 (888) 988-4033
  • Food, clothing and toys for displaced families

Corporate Match Program

Many companies have programs that promise to financially match gifts contributed by their employees to non-profit organizations. This program allows people to have their contributions to eligible organizations multiplied in value. Ask your company if they participate in this type of philanthropy and if not, whether they would like to start. For more information about the corporate match program, please call the outreach office at 908-788-7666.

Memorial Gifts

Experiencing the loss of a loved one begins a cycle of the most intense emotions we may ever feel during our lives. SAFE in Hunterdon’s memorial gift program enables families and friends to respectfully memorialize their loved ones while supporting an agency that gives back to the community.
